About The Position

Alliance Printing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Film Laminator to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lamination equipment to apply protective or decorative film to printed materials. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with laminating machinery, a strong eye for quality, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and meeting production standards.

Requirements

  • Experienced operating film laminating or similar print production equipment
  • Ability to listen, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a production environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective project and time management skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to perform a variety of production-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that materials supplied to production are correct and meet job specifications.
  • Set up lamination equipment by loading the correct film rolls and adjusting feeder, delivery, timing, and tension settings.
  • Pull and evaluate test sheets to confirm proper material placement, adhesion, and appearance prior to production runs.
  • Maintain optimal production speeds while meeting all quality standards and defect tracking requirements.
  • Continuously monitor job specifications and pull samples as needed throughout production.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the lamination machine and immediate work area.
  • Assist with basic machine troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support production operations.
