About The Position

University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College at North Little Rock is an integral part of the Arkansas Technical and Community College System maintained by the State of Arkansas. Requirements

  • High school diploma required, AA preferred.
  • Provide assistance using software programs, printing documents and understanding and using certain operating systems.
  • General knowledge of computers, Blackboard, MyLabsPlus Series, Microsoft Suite 2016, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google meet, some computer maintenance upkeep, and other related computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support computer lab operations.
  • Support faculty and students use of computer software and hardware.
  • Assist students entering and leaving lab to ensure proper protocol of policies.
  • Aid and introduce students to usage of computers and other equipment.
  • Provide records of students’ usage in computerized instructional support.
  • Maintain all lab equipment, software, keyboards, monitors and other devices.
  • Ensure proper treatment and authorized removal of equipment.
  • Log equipment damage and malfunctions.
  • Gather statistical reporting information as needed for individual departments.
  • Offer access to reference manuals and other information to users.
  • Extend assistance towards computers and printers’ support.
  • Clean, review and handle minor equipment maintenance to assure its operational condition.
  • Ensure a positive and productive visit of student, staff, and faculty
