About The Position

Position Summary: The Laborer performs unskilled and lightly skilled work in the Material Control or Production department. This role involves sorting defective parts, packing parts, performing minor rework, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Laborer will work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. Pay Rate: $17.11-$18.35

Responsibilities

• Follows simple instructions regarding visual defects to examine parts in quarantine (defective parts).
• Segregates acceptable and unacceptable parts using visual comparisons.
• May use simple go/no-go gauges.
• Assembles and fits slotted pieces together to form partitions for cartons.
• Marks tare-weight and type of vox on the side of the box, using a marking pencil.
• Bands (1 or 2) straps around vox before parts go into the box.
• Floor cleaning, degreasing, mopping, trash pick-up, and the like on the shop floor.
• Performs other customer-driven or product-driven duties as assigned by the supervisor.
