About The Position

The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute (BCDI), a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, and the only Federally Recognized Center of Excellence for bleeding and clotting disorders south of Chicago, is hiring a full-time Laboratory Manager. The Laboratory Manager shall be the primary person responsible for the overall operation and administration of the laboratory. He or she is responsible for meeting all applicable CLIA requirements and using a quality systems approach to laboratory testing. The Laboratory Manager monitors testing processes, evaluates corrective actions, ensures testing systems in the laboratory provide quality services in all aspects of test performance, ensures safety and biohazard requirements are followed and provides day-to-day supervision of all laboratory personnel and reporting of test results. Requirements

  • Masters of Science Degree or combination of degree and experience. Successful completion of the NCA/ASCP registry exam.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years experience in laboratory management preferred.
  • Coagulation lab experience preferred but not required.
