About The Position

TalentFish is casting a line for a Laboratory Assistant. This is a contract W2 role based onsite in Lowell, AR. The reason this position exists is to support high-volume laboratory testing operations across multiple testing teams, including Optical Lab, Tools/Furniture, and Toy Team. These teams perform mechanical testing and test preparation/setup. No prior lab experience is required, and training will be provided.

General understanding of laboratory information systems and equipment

Responsibilities

Process lab samples, perform tests, and record and analyze results
Build and adapt basic setup and test equipment
Perform tests using general laboratory equipment
Perform routine care of designated test equipment and work areas
Operate computer systems to input and extract test data
Follow defined test plans and datasheets
Evaluate test performance and sample operation
Record, explain, and interpret test results
Prepare charts, graphs, and reports
Examine test samples and read measuring instruments
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions
Communicate with internal staff during test setup and operation
Operate designated laboratory equipment and tools as directed
Record observed and calculated data on appropriate data sheets
Develop working knowledge of lab methods, instrumentation, and systems
Apply continuous improvement concepts and techniques
Follow all physical and digital security practices and codes of conduct
Perform other duties as directed
