Laboratory Assistant II
About The Position
The Laboratory Assistant II performs routine technical and clerical functions, including venipuncture, specimen receipt, and distribution of laboratory specimens, and will perform CLIA waived laboratory tests as requested. Abrazo Scottsdale Campus Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment, utilizing advanced technology. The hospital is a full-service acute care facility, home to the Abrazo Surgical Institute, offering comprehensive orthopedic care with navigational technology, sports medicine, outpatient rehabilitation services, enhanced diagnostic imaging, and emergency care.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine technical and clerical functions
- Performs venipuncture
- Specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens
- Performs CLIA waived laboratory tests, as requested
