About The Position

At MGM Resorts International, our Labor Relations Partners help create environments where our iconic brands and our people thrive by maintaining productive, collaborative, and compliant relationships with represented employees, union partners, and property leaders. In this role, you’ll guide leaders through labor-related matters, support grievance intake, fact-finding, investigation, and resolution, and help shape strategies that strengthen labor relations across the enterprise. You’ll provide guidance on navigating collective bargaining agreements and resolving issues in a way that supports business objectives and fosters a workplace built on trust, fairness, and meaningful relationships.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of prior relevant experience required
  • Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and apply collective bargaining agreements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to compile, interpret, and analyze complex data.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a resort, hospitality, or similarly complex operational environment preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and conduct meetings between employees, managers, and union representatives to investigate and resolve grievances.
  • Develop settlement recommendations and resolution strategies that support business objectives while mitigating organizational risk.
  • Partner closely with Labor Strategy, union partners, and property leadership to ensure consistent decision-making and effective grievance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Labor Strategy on drafting settlement agreements and Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on internal projects impacting represented employees, including reorganizations and consolidation efforts.
  • Analyze labor relations policies and procedures to ensure alignment across the enterprise.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive databases and reporting on grievances and arbitrations.
