About The Position

The Labor Relations Coordinator provides administrative and program support for all labor contracts in effect at UVM Medical Center, Central Vermont Medical Center, and Porter Medical Center. Support includes but is not limited to: Scheduling grievance and other key Labor meetings, supporting grievance response preparation and distribution, sending documents to the unions as required, and compiling and distributing contract-required reports.

Requirements

  • College Degree in Business, HR, or relative field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
  • Minimum of two to three years of experience in a Human Resources role preferred.
  • Three to five years in an administrative support role desired.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Customer service orientation with ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt and reprioritize quickly under fast-paced and changing business conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a union setting helpful.
