Labor Relations Analyst Key responsibilities · Achieve and maintain subject matter expertise (SME) in local CBA, labor laws, and internal labor policies. · Assist in managing day-to-day CBA administration, ensuring HR and operational processes remain aligned with current contract provisions. · Collect, interpret, and analyze labor data to be presented in clear reports to management. · Assist with CBA compliance and quality assurance for payroll data, tracking safety and attendance bonuses, and timesheet verification performed by CapMetro management and supervisors. · Analyze existing procedures, identify inefficiencies, and assist with developing new methods to increase organizational effectiveness. · Assist with preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly labor reports. · Provide general administrative assistance to include accurate record keeping of various labor records, schedule meetings and training sessions, prepare correspondence, memos, and notices for internal and external distribution. · Respond to phone calls, emails, and labor-related inquiries timely and professionally. · Coordinate schedules for grievance meetings, arbitrations, and other labor-related hearings with union representatives and department contacts. · Serve as note-taker for the Company during contract negotiations and labor-management meetings, ensuring accurate, confidential record-keeping of all sessions, follow-up actions, and outcomes. · Assist with coordinating and executing special projects including employee and community events and transit initiatives. · Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all agency policies and federal/state regulations. · Ensure timely, professional, and efficient verbal and written communication with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and ATU Local #1091. · Perform other administrative and analytical duties as assigned.
