About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Systems Specialist to join our team in Wichita, KS. Work Schedule / Hours: This is a full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible. Requirements

  • HS Diploma
  • 3+ years of IT experience supporting and troubleshooting in a multi-facility environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Laboratory clinical experience is strongly recommended.
  • A solid understanding of the Laboratory industry and Laboratory workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a member of the Softlab and Softpath team.
  • Administer and maintain the SCC Softlab system, including configuration, user access, and module management.
  • Provide user support, troubleshooting system issues and coordinating with vendors when required.
  • Prepares and leads meetings at an appropriate cadence; uses excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Partners with operations leaders to identify site-specific resolutions and changes.
  • Plans and manages the configuration of any required changes.
  • Documents lessons learned to ensure ongoing success with future initiatives.
  • Forms productive networks with internal and external customers and the vendor community.
  • Provides on call support for production systems, which involves being on call for one week every three weeks.
