In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. This position is based out of our Hudson, NH facilities. BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated engineer to support the development and sustainment of the System Integration Laboratories (SILs) supporting our EA-37B Compass Call programs. This role requires a process oriented, hands-on engineer, with a strong focus on risk mitigation and execution. Your responsibilities will include: Team member for sustaining both Mini-SILs and Full System Integration Labs for a variety of compass call programs. Support the entire lab lifecycle: encompassing procurement, installation/build, integration, testing, and transition to operational status. This includes meticulous attention to detail to ensure timely material ordering and installation. Follow a disciplined design process to ensure accurate and complete Bills of Materials (BOMs) are generated and maintained as a single source of truth. Test, troubleshoot and maintain RF electronics, communications systems and support equipment. Collaborate closely with Systems Engineering, Hardware, and Software Development teams throughout all phases. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and opportunities impacting the lab build and operation. Timely reporting and tracking of critical issues as they arise. Coordinate the work of technicians and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of tasks.

Requirements

  • Active DoD TS Clearance and eligible to acquire SCI clearance.
  • Associate’s degree in an engineering field with 4+ years of experience or 8+ years of engineering and technical experience.
  • Experience with RF, Radar, and Electronic Warfare.
  • Experience performing engineering activities including simulation, integration & test, and equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience in performing hardware, software and systems integration and testing.
  • Experience with issue tracking systems (JIRA), root cause analysis, .
  • Team player with proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment.
  • Ability to multitask across several programs.
  • Ability to read and markup mechanical and electrical drawings

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field with 6+ years of experience.
  • Currently holds Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
  • Experience with test plans, procedures, schedules and reports in accordance with program and system requirements.
  • Proficiency with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, etc.).
  • Model based systems engineering principles with tools such as MagicDraw.
