About The Position

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary of candidates hired. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. This position will remain open until 01/28/2026. Do you have strong communication skills & pay close attention to detail? If you are eager to learn how to collect blood specimens from patients to help facilitate testing by laboratory technologists, we would love for you to apply for our full-time Lab Aide position! Please note, the position may work varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Phlebotomist, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Record daily temperatures of incubators, blood bank, refrigerators and other equipment to ensure the quality of supplies and specimens
  • Utilize the Laboratory computerized management system to ensure timely and accurate record keeping, patient test ordering and billing, along with other specimen/billing processes.
  • Answer phones, fax results and handle requests for patient results. Copy, fax and file lab reports.
  • Schedule and perform procedures.
  • Draw blood by venipuncture, and/or capillary techniques.
  • Monitor inventory, order and stock supplies.
