About The Position

The Mid-Day Show Host & Multimedia Content Creator is a key part of the KSBJ Programming Team. This person will lead a dynamic, daily radio show while also creating content that reaches and connects with listeners across digital platforms. From short-form video to podcasting and social engagement, this role exists to build spiritual connection and authentic community through every form of media. The ideal candidate embraces a “Multi-media view of their show”, always thinking about how their show is a multi-media show and not confined to just one form of media. When preparing for each show on air and digital platforms integrate seamlessly.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years on air radio experience required with example of on air work.
  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, spiritually grounded, and active in a Bible-believing local church

  • Natural ability to share faith in a conversational, engaging way
  • Strong on-air presence and compelling personality with excellent listening and storytelling skills

  • Ability to adapt and repurpose radio content for social media, blogs, and other digital platforms
  • Understanding of what works for both radio and digital — and how to blend the two effectively
  • Passion for emotionally resonant storytelling that drives engagement across platforms
  • Collaborative, innovative mindset with a desire to rethink how radio content can build deeper connection in a digital world.
  • Must be available to work weekends/evenings and occasionally holidays for KSBJ events.
