As a Kitting team member, you will play a vital role in the preparation of furniture components, ensuring that all items are accurately grouped and ready for shipment. Your keen attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions will help us maintain high-quality standards while optimizing our customers assembly processes. Your skills in inventory management and your commitment to safety and quality control will be essential as a member of this team. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Previous experience in kitting, assembly, or a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Operating a forklift
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately gather furniture components and prepare them for on time shipments.
  • Organize kitting areas to ensure efficient workflow and easy accessibility to materials.
  • Inspect and verify that all components meet quality standards.
  • Label and pack kits with necessary documentation for easy identification and usage.
  • Coordinate with inventory management teams to maintain accurate stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance kitting processes and reduce waste.
