About The Position

TBEI – Tishomingo is a cutting-edge manufacturer of Class 3-8 truck bodies and truck and trailer hoists. We're growing fast — and so can your career! We’re currently hiring for a Kitter/Line Supply position to join our DuraClass team. Kit Assembly/Line Supply plays a critical role in supporting uninterrupted production by ensuring all required components are available, staged, and delivered to assembly lines according to the production schedule. This position works cross-functionally with Fabrication, Production, Planning and other departments to proactively identify part shortages, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive timely resolution of material issues. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, urgency, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environment preferred.
  • Forklift experience required (or ability to obtain certification).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret BOMs, part numbers, and production schedules.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills preferred (inventory systems, tracking forms, Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

  • Validate and verify required components against Bills of Material (BOMs) for upcoming production schedules.
  • Identify material shortages and coordinate with Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Production Supervisors to resolve issues promptly.
  • Accurately document shortages and material issues using established expedite forms and tracking tools.
  • Kit parts accurately and deliver materials to designated production lines, workstations, and staging areas in accordance with schedule requirements.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently (must meet and maintain forklift certification).
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, organized, and staged to support Lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
  • Communicate material status updates clearly and professionally to supervisors and team members.
  • Assist with inventory accuracy initiatives, including cycle counts and audits as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to reduce shortages, delays, and waste in material flow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational goals.
