About The Position

This is a multipurpose “Back of House” position for the Food Production - Kitchen. Jobs may include any responsibility regularly found in the non-customer facing areas of the restaurant including but not limited to cooking, cleaning, expediting orders washing dishes, prepping food for the line etc.

Requirements

• Good health and be capable of a full range body movement
• Lift items weighing up to 35 pounds on a regular basis
• Able to communicate in English
• Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations
• Must attach resume and current semester class schedule (weekly view).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience
• Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks

Responsibilities

• Prepping food for the line
• Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, walls and floors
• Wash pots, pans and other dishes and utensils
• Usually works indoors in the Central Kitchen
• May spend some time in the cooler or freezer area
• Uses ice machine, drink machine, coffee machine, carries trays of dishes and food, carries tubs of dirty dishes and utensils, uses broom and mop
