About The Position

Great American Restaurants is looking for energetic and passionate leaders of kitchen operations who are masterful coaches for leading food excellence and act as a liaison between the staff and management team. Great American Restaurants owns and operates 14 high volume restaurants, 3 artisan bakeries, and a BBQ spot in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our locations include: Patsy’s American – Randy’s Prime Seafood & Steaks – Ozzie’s Good Eats – Jackson’s – Artie’s – Carlyle – Mike’s American – Silverado – Best Buns – Coastal Flats – Sweetwater Tavern – Stupid Good BBQ

Requirements

  • 2-5 years working in casual, high volume restaurant kitchens
  • Passion for food and hospitality
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead outstanding kitchen operations with a hands-on approach, supporting the line where needed.
  • Have superior product and recipe knowledge in order to impact food quality.
  • Consistently execute impactful line checks.
  • Accountable for managing the window at an outstanding level.
