At The Hemingway, our Line Cooks have the important role of preparing high-end dishes for our guests, properly setting up the kitchen for a successful dinner service and maintaining a high level of attention to detail – in both the presentation of dishes as well as the cleanliness of the kitchen. In our open-kitchen concept, the Back of House focuses on team work and cross-training to ensure a smooth dinner service that not only delights our guests, but also encourages support and camaraderie amongst the staff. All team members are emboldened to take ownership of their stations and the kitchen by bringing suggestions and ideas that can streamline/improve methods and operations.
