The Role We are hiring a Kitchen Lead who can run a shift—start to finish—without being managed. This is a hands-on leadership position . You will be expected to lead from the front, maintain standards, and drive performance in a fast-paced environment. Full-time position 6–10 hour shifts Nights, weekends, and holidays required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years kitchen experience
  • Proven ability to lead a shift or team
  • Food Safety Certification (required)
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel for training (up to 1 week in Chicago)

Responsibilities

  • Run the kitchen during service (execution, pace, communication)
  • Deliver consistent food quality—every plate, every time
  • Hold team members accountable to standards and expectations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, inspection-ready kitchen
  • Support prep, inventory, ordering, and cost control with the GM
  • Step into any position as needed to ensure service runs smoothly
  • Work directly with the General Manager to improve operations and performance
