Join us to make legends happen! THE ROLE Legends Hospitality for a Kitchen Lead. Responsible for assisting, overseeing, and working with the culinary staff at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

Requirements

  • Must have attention to detail
  • Must have good oral communication skills
  • Must have knowledge of units of measure
  • Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be results driven
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to coordinate the work of others
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of SERV safe, Florida Department of Health Food safety/sanitation.
  • Must have two years previous experience as a cook in commercial kitchen or equivalent
  • Must have two years of experience in high volume, large volume food production

Nice To Haves

  • Team lead experience preferred
  • SERV safe certified preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the work and working with the culinary staff
  • Follows established department recipes and productions sheets
  • Prepares menu items for each banquet event order
  • Maintains all kitchen equipment’s cleanliness
  • Cook’s recipes as directed
  • Maintains product rotation and organization of coolers and storerooms
  • Ensures timely preparations
  • Enforces standards of food quality
  • Maintains clean safe working environment
  • Other duties as assigned
