About The Position

As a Kitchen Staff (Cook) at Naturals2go Hermitage Plus LLC, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality fresh food products to be distributed through our vending machines andmicro markets. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operationsand maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Basic Culinary skills and proficiency in cooking techniques
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent teamwork and communications skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of fresh food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
  • Ensure food products are prepared, stored, and handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work areas, including equipment, utensils, and food storage areas
  • Assist with inventory management, including monitoring ingredient levels, rotating stock, and placing orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen supervisor and other team members to develop new menu items and recipes.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handwashing, temperature control, and hygiene practices.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper lifting techniques.
  • Assist with other kitchen tasks and duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or management.
