About The Position

This position is responsible for:
Assists in the preparation and serving of meals; cleans kitchen equipment and washes dishes; sweeps, mops, and waxes floors.
Assists in preparing meals, beverages and snacks; washes and chops fruits and vegetables; mixes beverages and arranges snacks.
Assists in serving meals enduring appropriate proportions are provided.
Washes, dries, and stores pots, pans, plates, glasses, cups, bowls and utensils.
Cleans tables, chairs, and condiment holders.

Requirements

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
• One year experience working in a kitchen preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Safe Serve Certifications upon hire, if required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Food Service Manager Certificate upon hire, if required

Responsibilities

• Assists in making special arrangements for special events and/or programs.
• Performs other related work as required.
