About The Position

Cunningham Children’s Home in Urbana, IL, an agency committed to providing a safe place for young people to learn, heal and grow, is seeking an experienced, patient, Kitchen Assistant . With a qualified team, prepare, serve and clean up the kitchen for the youth and staff at our residential treatment facility and schools according to our specifications. The general schedule is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.In addition to being a competent cook, the qualified candidate will have knowledge of Public Health regulations, and understand bulk food preparation, storage and distribution.

Requirements

• HS diploma
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate
• at least 21 years old
• ability to submit to pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
