About The Position

We are looking for passionate kindergarten teacher to join our team! The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for providing instruction to students in both English and Spanish. Our teachers develop lesson plans and assessments that take into account the specific needs of students in our programs. Additionally, our teachers collaborate with other teachers and school administrators to ensure effective programming that meets the needs of all students. Overall, the role of the dual language program teacher requires a high level of language proficiency, cultural competence, and pedagogical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Elementary Education
• PA Instructional Certification specific to PK-4 or eligibility for instructional certification in Pennsylvania
• Strong instrumental skills, including piano accompaniment
• Content knowledge in research and development of library skills, in addition to classroom management, organization, planning, instructional delivery, and technical skills
• A deep knowledge of music theory
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate and build relationships with parents, students and staff to promote student achievement and strengthen community partnerships
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Bilingual in Spanish
