We are focused on continuing our great school climate and culture for our faculty and students. We consider ourselves a family and do whatever it takes to ensure that our students are successful. We are a turnaround school that has made drastic improvements within the past two years. In 2018-2019, we were recognized as a state of Tennessee Level 5 school and a Model Demonstration School for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
- Positive, student-focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students
- Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
- Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
- Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
- Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection
