About The Position
Responsible for providing individualized care to patients that are seeking or have already received an organ transplant. This position coordinates patient care through all phases of transplantation, including pre-operative, peri-operative, and postoperative care and follow-up.
Requirements
- 1 year Work Experience Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) State of Florida or multi state Required and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) If in BMT unit Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
Responsibilities
- Coordinates pre-transplant evaluations and assessments.
- Manages the transplant waiting list and patient status updates.
- Facilitates communication between patients, families, and the transplant team.
- Organizes and schedules transplant surgeries and related procedures.
