About The Position

A Kia Service Advisor assists customers with their vehicle service needs by identifying concerns, coordinating repairs with technicians, providing estimates, and keeping customers updated throughout the process. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, promoting recommended maintenance, and ensuring efficient, accurate service documentation. Requirements

  • Experience is required (2 years)
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Consistent and stable work history
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Resume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration
  • Applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with CDK preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greet customer warmly and assess reason for visit
  • The Service Advisor/Writer is responsible for the entire customer service experience
  • Generate estimates, suggest services and advise of any current promotional products/services
  • Advise customers on the routine care of their vehicles and the value of maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications
  • Communicate to the customer on targeted completion time
  • Follow up with progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick up time
  • Document repair and maintenance changes on repair order
  • Resolve customer complaints and questions
  • Establish and maintain strong positive working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
  • The Service Advisor will maintain Customer Service Index (CSI) ratings as set by dealership service manager
