About The Position

The Columbia Sales team partners with key wholesale accounts to deliver strategic growth across our Apparel, Footwear, and Equipment categories. As a Key Account Sales Representative, you’ll lead the business for assigned national and regional accounts, driving revenue, elevating brand equity, and delivering best-in-class service. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and deep cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales of Apparel, Footwear, Equipment, or equivalent industry merchant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of retail analytics, financial planning, and open-to-buy strategies.
  • Proven success in meeting sales goals and managing complex accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, sales software, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Experience working within integrated cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sustainable and profitable sales growth with assigned key accounts, managing day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.
  • Develop and execute seasonal Go-to-Market plans using sales analytics, consumer insights, and marketplace trends.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations through persuasive storytelling and directive selling techniques.
  • Build and maintain exceptional account relationships, serving as a liaison to internal teams including Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to support account needs and ensure timely execution of seasonal initiatives.
  • Create and implement marketing plans that drive consumer awareness, conversion, and brand advocacy.
  • Forecast business performance and communicate account health to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow market share and elevate brand positioning.
