YOUR TASKS: Project management: Assist in preparing basic project plans and status updates, help coordinate communication between internal teams and customers, and support tracking project timelines and identifying potential issues for escalation Sales Growth Development: Assist in executing sales plans for the assigned region, help identify new opportunities with existing and prospective customers, and maintain customer data, reports, quote logs, and documentation. Customer Engagement and Application Development: Participate in customer visits and calls with senior team members, help gather customer requirements and support basic application development, and present simple value-add solutions once trained Technical Support Coordination: Assist in troubleshooting by gathering information, documenting issues, and working with MAPAL technical teams while learning to support the customer experience through guided problem-solving Customer Liaison: Help relay information between customers and engineering/manufacturing teams and support timely follow-up open issues, delivery questions, and basic technical inquiries Training and Instruction: Learn MAPAL tooling applications and gradually assist in providing customer instruction and observe tooling issues on shop floors, document findings, and report to senior team members Tooling Issue Resolution: Address tooling issues on the customer’s shop floor, report findings, and recommend changes as needed to improve outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction YOUR PROFILE: Education and Experience: Associate degree, technical certification, trade school training, or equivalent hands-on experience. 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, tooling, or technical support Work Ethic and Decision-Making: Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to make independent decisions confidently, interest in developing a career in technical sales or key account support Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present, persuade, and sell value. Consultative, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented approach Creative Problem Solving: Able to think creatively and develop ‘outside-the-box’ solutions for client needs and challenges Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to meet with customers and stakeholders in designated sales regions Business Acuity: Business-minded, with a strong ability to plan and develop strategies while adapting quickly to change in dynamic environments Customer Focus and Teamwork: Customer-centric, with proven ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and maintain strong client relationships Project Management and Training: Demonstrated experience in project management, product presentations, and delivering training to both employees and customers. Requirements

  • Associate degree, technical certification, trade school training, or equivalent hands-on experience. 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, tooling, or technical support

Responsibilities
