The company employs more than 3,500 Associates worldwide.tc The role Key Account Manager for Walmart is responsible for the development and delivery of growth and profit targets for Walmart and will have responsibility for driving the overall P&L to drive profitable Gross Revenue & Gross Margin results. This role will include managing and maximizing sales potential within the current branded and Private Label portfolio, identifying and driving incremental opportunities, and developing potential new business opportunities in adjacent categories (ie. Plant based cheese) This customer is a growth customer for Flora and will be a key to future US / Global growth. Candidate must possess ability to network and build great relationships, both internally and externally. In addition, having a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and providing effective communication of these needs within the internal organization is critical. Prior experience with Walmart is expected, as well as a history of ‘fact-based selling’ and business management. Candidate must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and focus on key areas of opportunity. The role is based in NW Arkansas and will require ~10% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge (7-10 years) of Walmart and/or Sam’s Club experience
  • 2+ years of Private Label experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Good influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
  • Understanding of P&L, financial projections, and financial metrics
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into a tactical plan
  • Exceptional team leadership skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Provide clear communication between retailer and Flora, creating win/win solutions for business opportunities
  • Work with cross -functional team to ensure business opportunities are realized/maximized
  • Create and maintain accurate forecast for existing business and future opportunities
  • Achieve profit, volume, distribution and other key metrics as assigned by leadership
  • New Business Development that includes both developing and selling channel strategy
  • Development and implementation of sales plans for both branded, private label and future business
  • Manage support team and provide guidance and feedback as needed
  • Ensure customer deadlines are met and Flora is viewed as a preferred supplier partner.
