About The Position

The Key Account Manager builds and maintains strategic client relationships, ensuring long‑term retention, financial performance, and daily operational excellence. Acting as the primary client liaison, this role manages the complete order lifecycle—from initial inquiry to final delivery and invoicing—while ensuring a consistent, high‑quality customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer service, or logistics.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and order management tools.
  • Strong Financial Acumen

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients.
  • Act as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all client needs.
  • Monitor account performance and financial health to ensure retention and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and collaborate with internal teams to execute.
  • Manage the end-to-end order process, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Coordinate shipment scheduling and proactively communicate updates to clients.
  • Resolve issues quickly and effectively to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Generate and maintain reports related to shipments, order status, and performance metrics.
  • Schedule shipments and oversee daily pickup execution to ensure on‑time perform
  • Perform administrative tasks to support account and operational efficiency.
  • Handle day-to-day inquiries and requests with professionalism and urgency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Logistics, Pricing, Finance, Sales, Customer Success) to deliver solutions.
  • Managing account turnovers, process flows, documentation, and internal/external communications when away from the office.
  • Facilitate and lead monthly business reviews for both internal and external stakeholders, covering financial performance, accounts receivable status, volume trends, and key service KPIs.
  • Maintenance in the CRM for assigned accounts. This includes contacts, account process changes, contract detail and tracking service failures.
