JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the VP , National Sales , the Key Account Manager will strategically cultivat e and scal e national partnerships. This role will be responsible for maintaining positive business relationships and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and KPIs across markets. The Key Account Manager will serve as a cross-functional leader, collaborating with regional wholesale and commercial strategy teams to design and implement initiatives that drive profitability and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; or relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years proven sales experience; cannabis or alcohol sales preferred.
  • Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record and own transportation. Company reimburses for mileage.
  • This position requires the candidate to be based in Chicago with the ability to travel nationally.
  • Must maintain a high level of integrity, be self-starting, have good time management, and sense of urgency.
  • Highly motivated and performance driven with strong organizational skills.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency with MS Office in a windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-level, multi-threaded relationships within assigned accounts to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner
  • Proactively identify, engage, and scale prospective key accounts
  • Conduct analyses of client sales data to propose high-performing product assortments and targeted promotional programming
  • Design and execute growth plans, connecting account-level revenue and margin targets to company goals
  • Create and deliver quarterly business reviews that demonstrate ROI, track health metrics, and highlight future opportunities
  • Orchestrate collaboration within commercial strategy, marketing, and regional wholesale teams to align national account strategy with market objectives
  • Serve as an industry expert by monitoring competitive activity, emerging trends, and evolving consumer preferences
