About The Position

Serves as liaison between cross functional support for regional sales, with marketing, training, operations, and finance. Supports Regional Sales Director and National Account Managers to drive share, planning, marketing programs and other sales initiatives. This KAM is required to live and maintain a home office in any major metropolitan area in the assigned sales region. The specific location is at the discretion of the RSD and will be based on account distribution and other factors. Other primary duties and responsibilities include the following; however, Management reserves the right to assign or reassign other appropriate duties to this job at any time. This document excludes the marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite or equivalent, expert level in Excel

  • BA/BS Degree is required
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years sales experience in consumer products environment required
  • In addition, minimum of 2 years as a Senior Territory Manager preferred with a career background in bedding, furniture, or premium consumer durables sales with account buy call responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Supports National Account Managers (NAMs) in the creation of product line recommendations, rollout strategies, and competitive intelligence for the Team.
  • Develops with the guidance of the Regional Sales Director (RSD), marketing plans and products to support North Key Account opportunities.
  • Analyzes retail advertising within the Account's major trading areas. Develops conclusions / recommendations for the RSD.
  • Helps Account Managers analyze CO-OP spend and tracking through third party providers (Numerator)
  • Accumulates and disseminates retail ads from major regional customers throughout the Team.
  • Analyzes market share within the Accounts’ major trading areas. Recaps BOS of accounts and oversees the annual Market Penetration Report process with RSD.
  • Supports RSD in determining priority markets for specific MAP APP research and opportunities.
  • Assists RSD in the development and execution of conceptual selling presentations.
  • Strategically positioned as liaison between the region’s Customer Marketing Managers (CMM), and the Retail Edge Activation leadership Team.
  • Supports Brandmuscle budget tracking and activity for RSD and NAMs.
  • Create Newsletters and helps maintains regular cadence for store slot updates with team
  • Assists Team with Snooze and HUB Training to optimize programs usage and output.
  • Assists NAMs with analytics of slot productivity from individual accounts and overall macro environment.
  • Accumulates competitive activity / intel and provides insights for RSD and senior management.
  • Participates in account support for large rollouts / growth expansion.
  • Helps plan and organize North Team Regional Summits
  • Assists in the development of regional role out meetings, major dealer presentations and annual budget planning.
  • Attends / participates in internal Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Assists NAM’s with planning / organizing dealer visits / product reviews.
  • Attends Industry Markets, planning sessions, and Customer meetings as needed.
  • Manages Special Projects as needed by NAMS and RSD
  • Acts as Laison between NAMS and Sherwood
  • Completes all other projects as assigned.
  • Assist in Development of Door Reps with NAMs requests.
