As a Key Account Manager, Vision Care supporting U.S. Vision Care Key Accounts team, you will be trusted to be responsible for a portfolio of accounts ($15-$40m), identifying and addressing the needs and opportunities for these accounts to drive category growth, profitability, market share and revenue, under the direction of the Executive Sales Director. Lead the development of the account plan in order to maximize profitability, revenue growth and market share in the context of the broader channel strategy and business plan. In this role, a typical day will include: Manage key accounts relationships Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within accounts, understanding customer challenges and identifying solutions to enhance patient care Drive sales, promotion, and development in designated accounts to reach commercial goals Establish and develop long-term relationships with key customers by acquiring a thorough understanding of their needs and requirements Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs and objectives Lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans, providing strategic input on analysis, future potential, and key programs required for the accounts Prepare and negotiate contracts, guiding initiatives targeting specific accounts Analyze the market situation, including competitive intelligence activities on key accounts and competitors Organize customer events and other programs independently or with the marketing/medical department, in line with agreed business tactical plans Contribute to stakeholder mapping, including segmentation and profiling, and provide accurate and timely data for the Alcon Customer Relationship Management system Drive the sales operations plan and achieve agreed sales and broader performance targets 50% travel in assigned geography
