About The Position

This role is responsible for driving strategic growth and fostering long-term partnerships with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in the gas turbine sector. The Key Account Manager will manage complex accounts, promote high-reliability sensor solutions, and support the integration of instrumentation into critical turbine systems. You will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to align solutions with client needs while expanding market share. This position requires technical expertise in turbine engines, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record in account management. Success is measured by sales growth, client satisfaction, and effective execution of strategic account plans. The role offers significant autonomy, global exposure, and opportunities to influence product adoption across diverse industrial markets.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B sales or key account management experience in gas turbines, rotating equipment, or industrial components.
  • Expertise in selling sensors or instrumentation, including temperature, pressure, vibration, position, and flow devices in high-temperature or safety-critical applications.
  • Strong knowledge of aero-derivative and heavy-duty turbine designs, OEM qualification procedures, and product lifecycle management.
  • Proven success managing complex OEM accounts and negotiating long-term agreements.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to advise clients on sensor integration and performance optimization.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking to identify market trends, develop account plans, and drive growth initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–50% to support client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies targeting gas turbine OEMs, suppliers, and key partners to drive sales and platform adoption.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for sensor integration across compressor, turbine, combustion, fuel, and auxiliary systems.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and forecasting while conducting executive-level client reviews.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and quality teams to ensure qualification, reliability, and lifecycle objectives are met.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and drive business development initiatives for new turbine platforms and fleet expansions.
  • Provide technical consultation, troubleshooting, and support to clients for optimal integration of sensor solutions.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and implement improvements to maintain high service standards.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and strengthen client networks.
