About The Position

The Key Account Execution Manager is responsible for improving in-outlet execution in designated key customers (Walmart and other defined national accounts) and segments (Mass Merchandiser, Value & Drug). This role will serve as a liaison between Key Account Managers and our local Sales Center management, as well as with our retail partners’ local and regional management. This role will be fluent in our overall sales and marketing objectives with each customer and segment, with a specific focus on in-store execution standards and plans. It will work with local sales management to bring our execution plans to life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 3 years of selling experience as a manager in a Sales Center or in Key Accounts
  • Have worked with Walmart as a customer (highly preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Proven track record forming partnerships and influencing effectively across the organization
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects, quickly mediate between competing priorities, and work effectively with management
  • Strong relationship management skills and experience
  • Strong people and project management skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite with focus on Excel (Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, and Word
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • 75% travel within designated territory

Responsibilities

  • Engage Sales Center Management on execution standards by chain and outlet in their territory and support frontline sales associates
  • Provide sales expertise and resources on promotions and key product launches
  • Debrief Division Leadership on frontline capabilities & development areas
  • Aggregate observations of sales performance capabilities, report results and identify core areas for improvement.
  • Support training for the customer-specific sales technology needed to bring the inventory ordering and merchandising plans to life in outlet
  • Facilitate regional and local business reviews with key customers’ operational teams and Sales Center Management to improve in-outlet execution and drive positive sales growth
  • Partner with local leadership to develop action plans to address sales execution gaps.
  • Support sales efforts to achieve our annual joint business plan targets established with The Coca-Cola Company and other franchise partners.
  • Build and develop strong sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the roll out of customer-specific sales sheets and sales aids and disseminate sales sheets on new products.
