As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing visible presence and exceptional customer service. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hold a Level III armed certification for Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain visibility throughout the retail environment to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to staff and visitors.
Work collaboratively with store management and local authorities when required, following established guidelines.
Prepare clear and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations, utilizing training and judgment to address issues appropriately.
