As a Patrol armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuff, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report any unusual observations or incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and monitoring entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
