About The Position

We are seeking a passionate, Christ -centered leader to serve as our K–8 Spiritual Life & Volunteer Coordinator. This role focuses on building relationships with students, leading spiritual programming, and creating opportunities for students to grow in their faith.

Requirements

Strong personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ
Experience working with children or students (school or ministry setting preferred)
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to lead engaging chapels and student programs

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children and/or students in a school, church, or ministry setting
Experience leading small groups, chapel services, or student programs
Background in education, youth ministry, or a related field
Experience coordinating events, service projects, or volunteer teams
Strong understanding of child and adolescent spiritual development

Responsibilities

Build meaningful relationships with K–8 students
Plan and lead weekly chapel services across all grade levels
Lead K–4 Chapel Chats (Thursdays; alternating K–1 and 2–4)
Coordinate Middle School Shepherding Groups and communicate with group leaders
Coordinate student service projects and outreach opportunities
Support student discipleship through small groups and mentorship
Teach 7th/8th grade Servant Leadership elective
Help lead special events (Spiritual Emphasis Week, IgNight, Family Fridays, etc.)
Support staff with Biblical worldview integration and spiritual encouragement
Recruit and coordinate school volunteers
Maintain a visible, positive presence with students throughout the school day
