About The Position

The Spiritual Care Coordinator exists to bring a holistic vision to the Anne Carlsen Center in body, mind and spirit. This position provides spiritual and pastoral support for clients, their families, and staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; in religion, theology, divinity or a related field of study.
• Completion of at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education from the Association of Pastoral Education or equivalent experience.
• Chaplain’s certification or have met all qualifications to obtain a chaplain certification from an administering institution (e.g., Healthcare Chaplaincy Ministry Association or the Association of Professional Chaplains).

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in religion, theology, divinity, or a related field of study
• One year of Chaplaincy/spiritual care experience in acute care, hospice, long-term care, and/or residential care settings
• Completion of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education form the Association of Pastoral Education
• Experience in or willingness to specialize in pediatrics/youth along with experience or a commitment to develop skills in working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
