Work one-on-one and with groups of students with special needs to ensure progress toward their academic and functional goals. Collaborate with the special education directors and alternate curriculum creators to ensure effective lesson delivery and program implementation. Provide data, observations, and feedback on student performance (Present Levels of Performance - PLPs) to the other Resource Specialist Program teachers as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Special Education or a related field
• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (either Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe)
• Prior experience working with students with special needs, with a strong preference for experience delivering an Alternate Curriculum
