The Opportunity Within Aeroflow, the IT Operations team is comprised of a collaborative group of infrastructure engineers, network engineers, and application support professionals working together to support a hybrid environment across on-premise systems and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure). The team focuses on maintaining and improving core infrastructure, endpoint management, and system reliability across the organization You will support internal employees across multiple business units, ensuring systems are stable, secure, and scalable This team is highly collaborative and hands-on, with strong mentorship from senior engineers and exposure to a wide range of technologies It’s an environment where someone can grow from strong support/system administration into deeper infrastructure ownership over time Your Primary Responsibilities We are currently seeking a Junior Systems Engineer (Level 2). This role is designed for someone with a strong technical foundation who is looking to grow deeper into infrastructure and systems engineering. What you can expect day to day: Act as an escalation point for more complex service desk issues across systems and endpoints Support administration of Windows environments including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP Assist with endpoint management using SCCM (patching, deployments, imaging) Partner with senior engineers on infrastructure-related initiatives and system improvements Troubleshoot system performance issues and support ongoing stability of core systems Gain exposure to virtualization (Hyper-V, SCVMM) and hybrid cloud environments Assist with documentation, SOP creation, and process improvements What will be expected of you: Bring a proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn and grow Take ownership of tasks while collaborating closely with the team Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Contribute to improving systems, processes, and overall efficiency Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies. Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and think critically in real-time
  • Strong communication skills when working with both technical teams and end users
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset while remaining coachable and collaborative
  • Ability to document processes clearly and contribute to knowledge sharing
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on system reliability and accuracy
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments and Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc.)
  • Exposure to SCCM or similar endpoint management tools
  • Basic experience with PowerShell scripting (or willingness to learn)
  • Experience working in virtualized environments (Hyper-V or VMware exposure)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, or Autopilot
  • Exposure to AWS or Azure environments
  • Experience with identity platforms such as Okta
  • Experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments
