About The Position

The Junior System Administrator plays a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Sabel Systems’ enterprise IT infrastructure to ensure optimal availability, security, and compliance. This position provides hands-on support to internal staff, manages endpoints across Windows and macOS environments, and focuses primarily on onboarding new employees, creating user accounts, and preparing and shipping equipment. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required, to assist with equipment shipping drops offs. This position reports directly to the Manager of Information Technology and works closely with the broader IT and Cybersecurity teams to ensure systems remain aligned with company standards, security requirements, and operational needs. The ideal candidate demonstrates foundational troubleshooting abilities, and a willingness to learn in a compliance-focused environment. Familiarity with administering systems is a plus, especially in secure or regulated settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in system administration, desktop support, or IT operations.
  • Some experience supporting Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, and standard enterprise IT tools.
  • Basic knowledge of account management.
  • Experience with windows fundamentals and cloud-based services.
  • Experience with shipping platforms
  • A valid drivers license and reliable transportation

  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or Associate-level certifications
  • Other relevant IT support or security certifications

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Windows and MacOS endpoint devices in a secure, compliant environment.
  • Configure and manage device management within Intune to enforce security policies, updates, and application deployments.
  • Maintain Inventory, onboarding meetings and hardware repairs.
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, authentication, and system-related issues.
  • Onboard and offboard users, including account provisioning, device setup, and access management.
  • Support identity and access management systems (Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, MFA, SSO).
  • Assist with managing hardware replacements and refreshes
  • Perform routine system monitoring, reporting, and hardware compliance standards.
  • Participate in IT projects including system upgrades, device lifecycle management, and new technology rollouts.
  • Contribute to IT process improvements, documentation, and training resources.
  • Coordinate with vendor partners and service providers as needed.
