About The Position

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a motivated Junior Recruiter to join our team in Deer Park, Texas. This dual role position is ideal for someone early in their recruiting career who is eager to grow while supporting both entry level salary hiring and craft onboarding/processing. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, candidates, and HR leadership to ensure smooth recruitment operations and exceptional employee experience. Job Description: The Junior Recruiter supports the full-cycle recruitment process for entry‑level staff roles while assisting with HR coordination and craft employee processing. This position helps ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while contributing to efficient hiring and onboarding practices.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in recruiting (experience in industrial construction or oil & gas is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with applicant tracking or HRIS systems (UKG, iCIMS, Taleo, etc.) preferred.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and basic employment practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and attracting candidates for entry‑level salary positions and select craft roles.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates to ensure positive experience.
  • Prepare and extend offer letters for approved candidates.
  • Update applicant information and track progress in the company’s ATS.
  • Support job postings, advertising efforts, and other recruitment marketing activities.
  • Participate in career fairs and community outreach events as needed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Support the processing of craft employees, including gathering required documentation and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodations, and logistics for craft personnel when needed.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and tracking tools for craft onboarding, project assignments, and open positions.
  • Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned by management.
