Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical expertise in disciplinary field
• Meets task or project time and budget goals
• Using prescribed methods, performs specific and limited portion of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.
• Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
• Designs products or systems such as instruments, controls, machines, and bulk material handling mechanical systems
• Assist in the design of products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software.
• Evaluates equipment designs and provide recommendations to Project Engineer for design modifications.
• Develop 3D models and 2D design drawings as directed by a Project Engineer or under the direction of other experienced engineers/designers.
• Perform Material Take-offs and generate Bill Of Materials
• Check and approve shop fabrication drawings.
