About The Position

The Junior Engineer supports engineering activities related to the development, design, and analysis of technical systems. The role assists in applying engineering principles and practices to support system development and engineering tasks across mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
• Entry-level experience supporting engineering activities or technical projects.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or systems engineering.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering disciplines.
• Ability to support engineering analysis, system design, and technical development activities.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation and technical reporting practices.
• Ability to apply engineering concepts to support system development and problem-solving activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and apply engineering tools, technologies, and processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and program staff.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Naval Surface Warfare Center / DoD Test and Evaluation support preferred.
