We’re seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist to join Blooming Health’s growing team. This role is ideal for an early-career IT professional who enjoys hands-on technical support, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow their skills in a fast-scaling healthcare technology company. You’ll support Blooming Health’s internal teams by ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant IT operations across hardware, software, and systems.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or junior systems administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of common operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and SaaS tools.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance concepts (HIPAA awareness is a plus).
  • Experience supporting mobile devices and distributed teams.
  • Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment with evolving needs.

Nice To Haves

  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar).
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as JustWorks.
  • Exposure to healthcare, health tech, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to employees, assisting with hardware, software, mobile, and network issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support remote and onsite staff, including mobile device troubleshooting (company phone provided for responsiveness and on-call needs).
  • Support IT compliance monitoring efforts as assigned, ensuring adherence to company IT policies, data protection standards, and industry regulations.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining security controls, including antivirus tools, firewalls, access controls, and endpoint security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents promptly, escalating complex issues when required.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, including software updates, patches, backups, and device configuration.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and compliance-related records to support audits and internal reviews.
  • Track, maintain, and report on IT assets (hardware, peripherals, mobile devices).
  • Manage asset records within JustWorks HRIS, ensuring alignment with People Ops processes.
  • Partner with People Ops, Legal, and Business Operations on technology integrations, onboarding/offboarding, and special projects as assigned.
