About The Position

Martin Retail Group is seeking a versatile and hands-on Junior Full-Stack Developer & Cloud Engineer to join our technical team. This role is essential for maintaining, enhancing, and expanding our core digital infrastructure, which includes high-traffic public websites, internal systems, and critical data pipelines. Reporting directly to the Supervisor, you will take ownership of key responsibilities spanning PHP/Laravel web development, SQL Server administration, and Azure cloud engineering-specifically focusing on Azure DevOps and Data Factory (ADF). Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but we highly value significant, demonstrable hands-on experience and a strong professional track record.
  • 1-3 years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with React or Node.js for development or maintenance of supporting applications.
  • Experience with other web technologies like .NET, Blazor, or VB.NET for legacy system maintenance.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards or other Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Experience leading or participating in complex infrastructure projects (e.g., cloud migrations, GitHub enterprise setup).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain production-level web applications primarily using PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Monitor and maintain high-traffic event websites to ensure real-time uptime, performance, and security.
  • Manage the full domain lifecycle (auditing, renewal, and deprecation) for company web assets.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and CI/CD setup for a company-wide intranet rebuild project.
  • Perform routine database administration tasks within SQL Server, including managing logins, modifying credentials, and setting up access control policies.
  • Write and optimize complex queries and stored procedures within SQL Server (SSMS) to support application and reporting needs.
  • Configure and manage automated data ingestion pipelines to reliably load data into SQL Server environments.
  • Ensure secure data handling practices and assist with database backup and recovery strategies.
  • Build and manage ETL/ELT data pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF) to automate data movement and integration, including connecting to secure SFTP sources.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain web applications using Azure App Services.
  • Work within Azure DevOps to create and maintain build and release pipelines (CI/CD) for web applications and backend services.
  • Manage user provisioning and role-based access in Azure Active Directory (AAD).
