About The Position

As a Financial Analyst with Sabre Systems, you will be supporting the business financial management team and NAWCAD Lakehurst programs like Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Support Equipment (SE). This is a full time, in person role located at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Lakehurst, New Jersey. The position involves financial data entry and analysis tasking including, but not limited to: Supporting assigned managers in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as required Collecting and reviewing program financial data from various databases and other sources Creating, maintaining, and updating program databases and spreadsheets Generating and preparing reports and presentation material using Excel and PowerPoint Maintaining appropriate records and documentation Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as DAR, FAR, and other government policies and regulations Assisting in program coordination by following up on pending details and coordinating program meetings Performing basic program financial analysis activities to support program managers such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting funding expenditures, purchase requests/purchase orders Participating in special projects as required/requested

Requirements

  • Associate’s and/or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel to manipulate large sets of data with functions like vlookup and pivot tables feature
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint to present financial data to project team
  • Detail Oriented
  • Enthusiastic about learning new things and embracing change
  • Can react quickly to problems and questions to resolve in a timely fashion either independently or by seeking help
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is highly desired, but the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software (SAP, Oracle, etc)
