Position Overview Price Benowitz LLP is seeking a J unior Family Law Associate Attorney to join our growing practice in Northern Virginia, based in either Leesburg or Manassas, Virginia. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least two years of family law experience who is eager to expand their litigation skills while handling a broad range of domestic relations matters. The associate will work closely with senior attorneys while also managing portions of their own caseload, gaining valuable courtroom experience in Loudoun County, Prince William County, and surrounding jurisdictions. This is a full-time, hybrid position offering significant opportunities for professional growth within a well-established and expanding family law practice.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Virginia (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of family law experience.
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in litigation and courtroom advocacy.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining excellent client service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with and manage family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, equitable distribution, and protective order cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in hearings before Circuit Courts and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts , with supervision and mentorship as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing clear and compassionate guidance throughout their cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and staff to develop effective case strategies and ensure high-quality representation.
